Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson is retiring at the end of the season, bringing an end to more than 26 trophy-filled years at the club.
Since taking charge at Old Trafford in 1986, Ferguson has established himself as the most successful manager in British soccer history with13th Premier League title, secured two weeks ago, and a total of club’s record English championship haul of 20 titles.
Ferguson will stay at the club as a director and an ambassador.
“His contributions to Manchester United over the last 26 years have been extraordinary and, like all United fans, I want him to be a part of its future,” joint chairman Avie Glazer said.

I genuinely was shocked when I found out it was confirmed I didn’t believe the rumours at first but they were correct.
Greatest manager of our time, no matter who replaces him they will never be able to live up to him.
